Education Should Be Accessible
At Studio of Secrets, education is at the heart of everything we do.
We believe that quality BDSM education creates safer communities, stronger skills, deeper self-awareness, and more meaningful experiences. It empowers people to explore their interests with confidence and knowledge.
We also recognise that access to education is not equal for everyone. Financial hardship, disability, social disadvantage, and systemic barriers can make it difficult for some members of our community to access the learning opportunities they deserve.
Because education matters, we have created the Studio of Secrets Scholarship Program.
Our scholarship program helps reduce financial barriers by providing discounted access to selected educational workshops and courses for members of our community who would otherwise struggle to attend.
What Is the Scholarship?
A Studio of Secrets Scholarship provides a 50% discount on the ticket price of an eligible educational workshop or course.
If a scholarship is granted for a multi-session course, the scholarship applies to the entire course. You cannot pick and choose individual classes within that course.
Ticketing and booking fees charged by our ticketing provider are not covered by the scholarship and remain payable.
Eligible Events
Scholarships may be offered for:
Educational workshops
Educational courses
Educational workshop series
Scholarships are not available for:
Social events (i.e. Secret Society)
Private sessions
Any event not specifically designated as scholarship eligible
Priority Considerations
The primary purpose of the scholarship program is to support individuals who would otherwise be unable to access educational opportunities due to financial barriers.
Priority consideration may be given to applicants experiencing:
Financial hardship
Social or economic disadvantage
Disability or accessibility-related barriers
Additional consideration may also be given to individuals from communities that have historically faced barriers to accessing education and community spaces, including:
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
BIPOC individuals
AANHPI individuals
Priority consideration does not guarantee approval.
Scholarships are limited and are allocated based on demonstrated need, availability, and current demand.
Scholarship Limits
To ensure this opportunity remains available to as many community members as possible, each individual may receive a maximum of one scholarship per three-month period.
What's Included
A scholarship includes:
A 50% discount on one approved educational workshop or course
A unique scholarship access code issued to the successful applicant
What’s Excluded
A scholarship does not include:
Transfer to another person
Retroactive discounts or refunds
Social events or non-educational offerings
Multiple events under a single scholarship
Each scholarship is issued for one specific educational offering only.
How to Apply
Applications must be submitted through the official Scholarship Application Form.
Scholarship applications must be received at least 10 days before the start date of the workshop or course.
Applications submitted after this deadline may not be considered.
As scholarship places are limited, we encourage applicants to apply as early as possible.
Each individual is limited to one scholarship within any three-month period.
Application Review Process
All applications are reviewed by the Studio of Secrets team.
Applications are assessed using principles of:
Fairness
Integrity
Community benefit
Demonstrated need
Successful applicants will receive confirmation and their scholarship access code.
Applicants who are not successful will be notified wherever possible at least seven days before the event begins.

The Studio of Secrets Scholarship Program exists because we believe education should be available to more people, not fewer. While we cannot support every application, we are committed to distributing available scholarships as fairly, respectfully, and responsibly as possible.
Our goal is simple: to help more members of our community access high-quality BDSM education, develop their skills, and participate more fully in a safer, more informed, and more empowered community.
