Find answers to common questions about attending Studio of Secrets events, including expectations, safety, and what to expect.
SECTION 1: Attending & Arrival
-
The venue is in Southbank, Victoria.
The exact location is shared privately with ticket holders prior to the event. This ensures discretion and respect for all attendees.
-
Please arrive at the time listed on your ticket. This helps us maintain a smooth and welcoming experience for everyone.
We ask that you do not congregate at the entrance, as we have residential neighbours who deserve respect and we also do not want people attracting negative attention.
-
No. Early arrivals cannot be accommodated. Please respect the venue and surrounding area by arriving at your scheduled time only.
-
There is no parking on site at the Studio but street parking is available on the streets around the venue.
Please check signage for any fees that may apply.
SECTION 2: Tickets, Refunds & Transfers
-
Refunds are available up to 48 hours before the event, minus a 25% administration fee. After this time, tickets are non-refundable.
-
Tickets are valid only for the event purchased and cannot be transferred to another date.
-
Absolutely. If you cannot attend, we prefer you transfer or sell your ticket to someone else.
The most effective way we have found to do this, is to go to the event listing on Fetlife and make a post offering to on-sell the ticket.
With regards to transferring the ticket into someone else’s name, this is not needed, nor is it currently possible.Simply handover the ticket to the person attending. When they arrive, they should advise the staff member at entry who the original ticket holder’s name was.
SECTION 3: Behaviour, Consent & Expectations
-
We expect all guests to conduct themselves with consideration for others.
Consent, communication, and personal responsibility are essential.
Simply put, lead with kindness, be respectful and conduct yourself with honesty and integrity.
-
Our team actively monitors the space during all events.
If behaviour is deemed unsafe or inappropriate, we may intervene.
If you feel someone is engaging in unsafe or questionable play, bring it to the attention of a staff member immediately. Never interrupt a scene or someone else’s play directly.
Serious breaches may result in removal from the event.
-
Yes.
Furniture and bedding is clean before doors open at events. Should you use any of the furniture, you are expected to clean and reset anything you use after your scene is complete. There is a cleaning trolley and additional cleaning supplies throughout the venue. If in doubt on how to clean, please ask a staff member.
If you use a mug or cup, please use the kitchen to wash your own dishes when you are done.If you are performing a scene in which body fluids or blood are in play, you must use a drop sheet.
-
While we are aware people are keen to stay and chat, we kindly ask all patrons to politely leave the premises on time to allow our staff the freedom to clean up and reset.
We ask that you do not congregate at the entrance, as we have residential neighbours who deserve respect and we also do not want people attracting negative attention.
-
We appreciate that not everyone can get along and it is our priority that all guests feel safe, supported and treated respectfully.
That said, we are unlikely to outright ban anyone from our venue unless circumstances are extreme and there are legal proceedings (including any type of restraining orders in place).
We cannot control who buys a ticket, as they can do so under an alias. Anonymity is social norm in our community.
What we can do, is support you if you feel you need support. If someone is present at an event who makes you feel uncomfortable, please tell a staff member immediately.
That said, we will not take sides in personal disputes.

We love it when you get raunchy, but but this is not a swinger's club. If you want to do a scene that involves explicit sexual activity or penetration of any kind (i.e. sounds), please talk to us in advance or find a staff member on the night so we can assist you, as these types of scenes need additional management for hygiene reasons.
